Esther was born in Cuba and immigrated to the United States in 1962 as a child. Her passion for art was inherited from her mother. Despite pursuing a career in finance, Esther always made time for her artistic pursuits, particularly oil painting.

After retiring in 2010, Esther moved to a small town in Florida, where she truly found her calling. She began sculpting figurative art using Polymer Clay, and her talent quickly garnered recognition, leading to numerous prestigious awards. Her work has been showcased in various art doll magazines and publications.

During her recovery from a major illness, Esther discovered a love for soft pastels and found joy in creating wildlife/pet art.

Esther has five grown children and many grandchildren. She currently lives with her husband.

I have loved anything related to art since I was a child.  I think of art as an expression of my soul and find that both figurative art and wildlife portrait painting allow me to discover emotions deep within my subjects.   I use clay for my figures and love Soft Pastels for the animal world.
